We bought the Filmetrics Profilm 3D with the isolation table recently. The installation has been made, including the software program sucessfully. However, when we try to calibrate the equipment we didn’t because we never got the focus of the objective. Can you provide any hints to adjust or align the stages in order to obtain the focus and can calibrate the equipment?
We try to calibrate using the manual profile. Also we have another calibration instruction made by the company, however we need achieve the focus first.
Thank you.
Glad to hear you are using the Profilm3D! Please contact us using our new user training request page so we can schedule a training session with you and your instrument.
(i see that the question was asked a year ago). I think it is important to position the objective in the right distance from the surface. Refer to the pdf manual that comes with the machine to find the proper distance for each objective. When you see fringes, then you can choose autofocus.
